Handcrafted original aircraft skin from an AIRBUS A321-200.

 

The Airbus A320 family is a series of short to medium range, narrow-body, commercial passenger twin engine jet airliners designed and manufactured by Airbus. The family includes the A318, A319, A320, A321, and the ACJ (Airbus Corporate Jet). Since its introduction in 1987, the Airbus A320 family has gradually become the best-selling passenger aircraft in human history, thanks to its groundbreaking innovations such as the digital fly-by-wire control system, the side-stick control, and extensive applications of composite materials.

As the longest version in the A320 family, the A321-100 prototype made its first flight in 1993. The fuselage is 6.94 meters longer than the A320, reaching a total length of 44.51 meters. First flew in 1996, The A321-200 variant features larger fuel tanks and higher MTOW, significantly increasing its range and enabling it to compete with the Boeing 757.

On April 13, 2006, the Airbus A321-231 MSN 2741 rolled off the assembly line at Airbus site in Hamburg, Germany, and took its maiden flight. Equipped with IAE V2533-A5 engines, the airliner featured 12 business-class seats and 167 economy class seats. On April 26, the A321 was ferried to China with the registration number B-6267.

B-6267 started its operation based on Dalian Zhoushuizi International Airport. In its 17 years of service, B-6267 safely transported millions of passengers through tens of thousands of takeoffs and landings. Its flight paths spanned across the magnificent rivers and mountains of the our great nation, witnessing the rapid development of the civil aviation industry and the thrival of China…

On August 26, 2023, B-6267 completed flight CZ3608 from Guangzhou Baiyun to Dalian Zhoushuizi, marking a perfect conclusion to its passenger service career at the end of the busy summer travel season. It was the time when the Airbus A321 passenger-to-freighter conversion project has just started, B-6267 received its cargo conversion in Guangzhou, becoming an Airbus A321-231 (P2F) freighter.

We utilized the skin removed during the conversion to manufacture these tags in limited edition. Despite the skin showing scratches accumulated over the years, we still preserved the original paint for the tags, presenting you with its original condition. We truly hope this tag can be flying with you once again, high into the vast blue skies of our homeland!

Aircraft Skin Origins:
Our aircraft skins have a rich history, having been flown with the aircraft for years before being parked in Boneyards, or during cargo conversions. We then handcraft these skins into tags. It's important to note that minor scratches and paint drops are normal due to their previous life.

Tag Usage Recommendations:
Hexagons and multicolour rectangle tags are not recommended for use as keychains. However, all rectangle tags come with a ring for daily use, providing convenience and durability.

Packaging Details:
Your package will include a cardboard piece alongside the tag. The hole and rings provided are designed to easily connect the two components, ensuring a secure and organized presentation.
